Principal
Niki has been teaching in the special education field for 30 years.
She has managed special classes, taught in mainstream primary schools and secondary schools with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Her passion is wanting to make a positive difference in the lives of students and their families.
She has been in leadership positions since 2001, managing the development of the Findon High Disability Unit; leading the development and establishment of Adelaide West Special Education Centre as Assistant Principal and the Roma Mitchell Secondary College Special Education Campus as Head of Special Education followed by Principal at The Grove Education Centre.
Niki's focus is school improvement and implementing evidence based teaching and learning practices for students with disabilities, especially students with Autism, sensory needs and complex communication needs.
