School Buses

Errington Special Education Centre operates a fleet of five buses in various sizes, including two large 20-seater buses, two 12-seater buses, and a wheelchair-accessible bus.

Our new campus features a large, secure shed at the end of the driveway, providing undercover storage that protects our vehicles from the elements and helps prevent vandalism.

These buses are utilised throughout the week to support excursions, swimming programs, choir, sporting activities, and whole-school events. A number of staff members have undertaken specialised training and obtained bus licences, enabling us to transport students without relying on external providers.

This level of flexibility is important, given the diverse and complex care and medical needs of our student cohort. By having our own trained staff at the wheel, we can swiftly and safely respond to any situations that may arise during travel.

We are proud of our excellent safety record, and our buses enable students to experience a wide variety of educational and enjoyable excursions across Adelaide.
